The process of choosing the winners of the 2023 Trekzone Fan Film Awards started yesterday.

Those who signed the letter given to Matt Miller last week and decided to stay nominated will not be punished in any way.

There’s still an uneasy feeling hanging around, if the letter was handed over on the eve of the nomination announcements, what is stopping the leaders from firing another torpedo at us a day away from the awards show? If they were willing to throw efforts into chaos once, what stops them from trying again?

I guess the only thing we can do is try and have faith that the stormy weather is behind us, we will press on and put on the best possible show on July 10, we will celebrate thirteen wonderful months of effort and the over fifty fan films we’ve had the pleasure to consider for awards.
