Sixteen days to go until the 2023 Trekzone Fan Film Awards takes place.

At the moment, the reasoning for why each person or fan film got an award is being written out so everybody knows why each one got chosen.

Matt will be doing the awards show, it may not be as big as last year which is saddening but the show will take place, the awards will be read out and the major awards will be posted out with the goodies.

Sometimes it feels like the life has been sucked out of the party, but I think that enthusiasm for the awards will ramp up in the final week and the party will start all over again and all will be ok.

Thinking of those goodies makes me want to go down the street and purchase some for myself, there’s even coconut flavoured Tim Tams, melt them a little and boy oh boy it is fantastic though we’ll probably play it safe and go for the regular Tim Tams.

Chris Lea has released the trailer for “Daedalus” and the ship looks absolutely beautiful, I wonder when fan productions will be beating a path to his door for Chris’ services.

The Starship Tristan adventure “Seeing in the Dark” is approaching 2,500 views.

Fans woke up this morning to the news that Prodigy has been cancelled, it is a great show, there’s action, character development, villains, love, Janeway and Chakotay, mystery, excitement but it is all coming to an end.

Streaming services offer us so much but if the money isn’t poured into them, we’re the big losers as shows get cut.

Hopefully a new deal can be made for Prodigy, and we get a couple more seasons out of the show, a change.org petition has already been launched.

Until next time, be good to each other.
