We have 57 days to go until the ‘Best of 2023’ list is released, the days are going by pretty quickly which is good news and bad news, the bad news being that it means that Christmas is coming up fast too.
Matt has everything planned out to wrap up the 2023 Trekzone Fan Film Awards on a very nice note, stay tuned for some special events in the next few weeks as he chats to some very special guests.
Commodore Productions have released a short fan film titled ‘Three Star Ship’; it comes in at a very light twenty-eight seconds, the fan film does have an interesting way of letting viewers see which ship is which.
‘Death Sentence’ is now just 43 views away from reaching 5,000 views on YouTube, ‘Firehawk‘ is 687 views away from the same milestone, we’ll keep an eye on the progress of these two fan films.
There may be a video position swap soon as sixth place ‘Between Two Worlds‘ on Potemkin’s all time list is just 51 views ahead of ‘Where They Have Gone, We Follow‘.
This may interest people, ‘Star Trek Misconceptions’, two have been released in the last two weeks.
Star Trek Gungnir is up to Season 3, Episode 47, this style of storytelling seems to be growing in popularity, so we’ll keep an eye on this.
Fan Film Fighting has continued but it is now at a slower pace which is what happens after everybody says their piece and also run out of jokes, it may be nothing but after seeing one person saying ‘Bubba’, I looked it up to see if it meant anything, it turns out that an informal meaning of the word is ‘an uneducated conservative white male of the southern US.’
Hopefully the use of Bubba is actually the other definition which is ‘used as an affectionate form of address to a brother.’ though the person who uses it doesn’t seem to like the guy he calls Bubba.
That’s the news and views for this week, thank you for stopping by.
Until next time, be good to each other.
