December is a time of good cheer but in the fan film world, things have been getting wild.

For years, there has been pressure on Axanar to let experts have a detailed look at the finances of the fan film, the leaking of three months of Axanar account spending revealed among production expenses purchases such as Warhammer spending in England and private life spending.

Axanar’s response was to release the financials from 2014 to 2016, this is a summary and not an item-by-item breakdown, you can’t prove or disprove it and you’ll have to take the word that experts signed off on it.

Apparently, there is something that the AxaMonitor people don’t get about the bank statement, but the Axanar supporter who says that won’t say what it is and goes on about entertainment value.

Meanwhile, Alec Peters and Paul Jenkins continue to battle with the two yet to reach a court room.

Things used to be so rosy between them but when they went their separate ways, the battle lines were drawn, Alec sued, Paul countersued, and the fight was on.

Earlier this week, Axanar post a blog credited to ‘Axanar Fan Group that Paul’s former lawyers were seeking $300,000 off Paul, what was not mentioned was the fact that Alec Peters had a lawyer leave his lawsuit against Paul Jenkins because he wasn’t being paid, at this present time 52 reactions were received out of 77,000 followers with little interaction.

In the blog post credited to ‘Axanar Fan Group’, names are mentioned all through the blog entry except towards the end where it says “I”, in the financial blog, a comment left by the Axanar Fan Group is signed by Alec.

Paul Jenkins appeared on Robservations a couple of hours later and the show was having around 310 viewers watching for the majority of the show, Paul is currently seeking $40,000 to keep up the legal battle with Alec and fans responded by pushing the donated total to $15,040.

Fighting has spread to reddit, and the usual things are happening at AxaMonitor and The Real Truth About Axanar, it sure does get wild in those two places.

Both sides should just put everything on the table and let the courts decide, no more motions, no more stalls, just get it all out there and done with, if both sides are confident that they are right, then they’re ready to show why.

A couple of things could happen in the future, Paul could fold, Alec could fold, Paul could win, Alec could win and the financially horrible outcome, nobody wins and there be two guys who will be paying bills for a long, long time.

Until next time, be good to each other.
