Bring out the ol’ Chestnut

The old compare Matt Miller’s stats to somebody else’s stats Chestnut got wheeled out a couple of days ago.

Axanar has this thing about comparing Matt’s stats with somebody whether it is Jonathan Lane or a newbie giving time to Axanar.

The comparing is just a way of making the other side of the fence defensive and it drags people away from topics that may be causing Axanar some discomfort, stress, annoyance, anger and everything else, like the subject of the Modern Mystery School headed by the Axanar super-donors, that School got the attention of VICE, that isn’t pretty.

Comparing stats for boasting purposes is just for people to inflate their heads or to get their pebbles off.

Fear

One of Axanar’s biggest fears has been revealing who is on Axanar because they fear something bad will happen to them from ‘haters’.

It is all a load of baloney, nobody is going to hurt a person who works on Axanar or bombard them with messages etc., the whole thing is to play on the distrust a few have regarding Paramount and CBS or score points with people who wouldn’t bother to check if the information is true or not.

Late last month, one Axanar supporter was saying that ‘haters’ were cowards for not directly confronting Axanar people, so if they are cowards then there is absolutely nothing to fear.

Quality Star Trek Games

After the release of Resurgence, hopes were high for a golden run of Star Trek games, it appears that this has been shattered after Star Trek Infinite is only 56% positive reviews and Star Trek Legends is 66% on Steam.

The news for Infinite is worse when recent reviews are only 30% positive, and the last update was in December 2023 with patches being done between October and December, recent reviews for Star Trek Online are 83% positive and overall is 78% positive.

The gaming industry stinks at the moment, developers and publishing companies are releasing games too early or overpromise on content that a game will have, we get left with games that are a buggy mess and when the sales go down, they leave gamers in the lurch.

Conclusion

Playing with a straight bat is usually the way to go in life, people will try and rattle you, get you feeling all fight or flight but in reality, most of the time if you don’t rise up your anger, they usually pack their bags and flee because they are not prepared for a logical discussion, they want anger, they want fireworks and things just fall flat if you don’t give them that.
