46 days to go until the 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, if you need a Facebook reminder you can sign up for the event and get to know all the latest, don’t worry there will be more than nine people watching.
Star Trek Endeavour was released on May 19, it stars Eddie Lyons as Captain James Sidney, Eddie also had a hand in writing, producing and directing the fan film that runs for sixteen minutes and is the first of four fan films.
‘Leo’ has passed 10,000 views on YouTube, this new fan film by Chris Lea reached the milestone in under a week.
Don’t forget if you haven’t seen ‘The Third Option’ by FSFilm, you can by watching the above video or the link here, it currently has 817 views on YouTube and it deserves more than that total.
‘Sleeping Dragon’ is 56 views away from reaching the 5,000-view milestone on YouTube, if you haven’t seen it and you like science driven stories then this one is for you.
‘Periphery’ has cracked Potemkin Pictures Top 20 most watched list, it is twentieth, but it will jump up a couple of spots in the near future as a few fan films are close together in views and so it can make it up to seventeenth in a short time period.
There’s a change on the Top 10 most watched fan film list with ‘To Boldly Go: Part I’ passing ‘World Enough and Time’ for ninth on the list, all other fan films have retained their positions on the list with Horizon and Star Trek: The First Frontier the two most watched in the last month.
Nothing new on the legal battle fronts, any changes with Axanar and CBS and Paramount would be expected early next month and the battle between Alec and Paul won’t start for a couple of months.
