108 days to go until The Best of 2024 List will be published, we’re really looking forward to it because a lot of great fan films have been released in 2024 and there’s no doubt that we’ll be seeing more fan films being released by NYE.

September 8 was our first ‘Star Trek Day – Fan Film Style‘ event, we showcased a selection of fan films that were released or re-released this year for you to enjoy, it was a success, and we look forward to doing it again in 2025.

Coming up this weekend is Act III of ‘Starfleet Legends’, this fan film is highly anticipated and don’t forget to check out the re-released Act I and Act II and subscribe to the YouTube channel along the way.

New from Matthew Lee Blackburn is ‘Undercover’, this fan film runs for exactly fifteen minutes and is considered to be a ‘conspiracy fan film’, many people in the fan film world love a good conspiracy.

Short and sweet at just under six minutes in length is the latest Venture fan film ‘Dinosaurs!’, give it a try today, it may be to your liking, a nice story that is told in a short time, perfect for those on the go.

If you like Chris Lea’s model of Deep Space K-7, now you can have another look at it thanks to this short video.

‘The Polyphemus Program’ has reached 9,000 views and recent release ‘Night Shift‘ has just over 4,100 views at this time, ‘Periphery‘ has reached 20,000 views and continues to sit ninth on Potemkin Pictures’ most watched list.

Take a look at this effort by Rob Betz, what a beautiful bridge of the USS Enterprise-A, the amount of time it takes to make it must be in the tens to hundreds of hours, it is one thing to look at pictures and film, it is another to replicate it.
