It looks like the problem we had two weeks ago was Facebook as suspected being hypersensitive and thankfully not somebody trying to torpedo our efforts, last week’s MTM Wrap was posted with no problems, material from MTM Wrap two weeks ago will be updated and posted in the new one on Saturday.

This week, The 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards winners list got dusted off and our list of fan films made in 2024 is being looked at as we start working on the list that will be published on December 31, 2024.

The first step for The Best of 2024 List was deleting all of The 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards winners who had made their fan films in 2023, that leaves seven categories with a pencilled in winner until we check post The 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards releases to see if any fan film would be a better selection.

The Best Makeup Award has been vacated and so we will have a different winner in that category.

We know some people question our selection process, it appears that multiple people making the selections are preferable to one or two people but doing things a different way is what makes us unique and we’re not going to be changing the way it is done.

The Best of 2024 List will not be The Best of Participating in 2024 List, fan films won’t be getting the nod for inclusiveness or sharing is caring, the best eligible fan film for the category will get the nod.

There are over 20 fan films to think about for The Best of 2024 List and that includes ‘The Final Mission’ when it comes out in a couple of days which is pretty cool and most of those will be considered in The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards.
