There are 180 days to go until The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here.
There has been some pretty good interest in the awards which is good, the dates for eligibility are May 2024 to June 2025, so we got a bit of time to go before it is time to think about what films go where.
A few categories may be added this year which is always a cool thing to have as it keeps things fresh.
We will have plenty of fan films to consider this year, that’s the feeling that we get at this present time.

• S02 “The Good Guys, the Bad Guys, and the Blue Guys” — filming in Spring 2025 (Sagittarius)
• T24 “In the Pines” — filming in Spring 2025 (Tristan)
• MC05 “Recess” — filming in April 2025 at Stellar Fest (Marie Curie)
• C08 “TBD” (Caliborn)
• D26 & D27 “Both TBD” — filming in late Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 (Deimos)
• W15, W16, W17, W18 “All TBD” — filming in 2025 (Webster)
The good news for them is all the ones in post-production will make it for consideration in The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards and take a look at the nice variety of fan films there are, different ships and crews and the Klingons star once again.

We’re most certainly are in a new age and computers will probably get more smarter and give exactly what fan film makers want though humans will still be putting the finer details into the fan films.
