110 days to go until The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, we now have over 25 fan films to consider and there is quite some time to go before the eligibility period ends so we’ll be announcing higher totals.

The latest from Chris Lea is ‘Zodiac Class’, a brief but always visually stunning fan film, one runs out of words to describe these productions that Chris makes, beautiful, high-quality starships on screen for us to enjoy.

Rob Betz has put his ISS Enterprise to good use, not once, not twice but three times as the ISS Enterprise takes on the USS Enterprise, which ship will win? watch all three parts to find out, love the work we see from Chris and Rob and everybody else who puts ships together and make them fly onscreen.

‘The Hive’ is making good progress towards 2,000 views, it is always surprising that Jeff Nord’s fan films don’t get huge numbers as they are usually riveting productions, perhaps it is just luck of the video, pops up in the right lists or at the right moment of time.

‘Hands of Fate’ has just over 3,200 views on YouTube, its total is less than what Potemkin Pictures has recently been accustomed to but as said earlier it could just be a case of luck of the video, do check it out if you haven’t already or perhaps give it another viewing.

‘Sweet Oblivion’ has had just over 1,500 views in the three months it has been online, do check it out and do use captions as it is presented in Czech.

That’s it for the news this week, sorry for the spaced-out editions but the autumn heatwave has been biting pretty hard on me but hopefully soon I’ll have the energy to keep going and going.

Until next time, be good to each other.
