103 days to go until The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, there will be over 25 fan films to consider this year, and it is going to be a very slow process, that’s what the feeling is about it, and it is a good feeling, you want to take your time to hopefully get things right but as everybody knows you will never get 100% agreement in selections and that’s the way it ought to be.

One fan film up for consideration is the latest fan film produced by the Starship Webster Creative Group and released by Potemkin Pictures and it is titled “Protector’s Toll”.

A sudden but grave threat forces Tactical Officer Victor Larkin into an unbearable dilemma, what will Victor Larkin do about this threat, what price if any will he have to pay? Will he take the events well? Check out “Protector’s Toll” to get the answers.

“Protector’s Toll” was written by Werner Louderbac, directed by Chelsey L. Boston and Randall Landers, the film was Edited by Randall Landers, VFX was done by Ross Trowbridge. Music was done by Dave Stump; the Webster Theme was done by Chris Kroznuski. The Corsairean Theme was done by Dave Stump, Costumes were made by Ann Drew, Lee Drew, Randall Landers, and the entire cast.

The latest from Rob Betz is ‘Broken Mirror Aftermath USS Enterprise Damage Inspection based on Star Trek‘, the USS Enterprise is being inspected after its battle against the ISS Enterprise, and Starfleet’s report looks like an interesting story is going to happen soon too.

Check out Rob’s redesign of the Enterprise, it is always nice to see somebody giving a classic a new look, of course doing such things as risky as it risks ticking off purists, it is fun to see what people come up with.

Check this out, the Shelley Class starship, very versatile ship class that can do so much work, definitely love the creativity in this one.

That’s it for this edition of MTM Wrap, another good week in the books as we get closer to The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards.

Until next time, be good to each other.
