There are forty days to go until The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, and the nomination considering process is complete, the nomination list has made its way to Matt for checking over, any needed adjustments will be made and then it is all his to do what he does well, the visual element set to be held on June 10.

We have been spoiled this year in terms of variations of stories from mysteries to betrayal to sacrifice to the pain from past decisions, it has been wonderful getting to know the fan films over the last year and everything will be good on July 10.

Here is the favourite part of MTM Wrap for many readers, the news of new fan films and this week saw the return of the I.K.S. Qab’elth Creative Group with ‘Treachery and Honor’, a twelve-minute adventure that is now ready for you to enjoy.

There’s more, we have ‘Flight of the Pegasus’ from Spacegate Station, this fan film comes in at thirty-two minutes long, so it is just the right length of time for somebody to enjoy it while having lunch or even dinner.

The latest from Rob Betz is the USS Grissom, the Oberth class starship that was destroyed in orbit of Genesis in Star Trek III, I love the Oberth class especially when playing Starfleet Academy in the 90s and wanting a bit of a challenge compared to the Miranda class or the Constitution class ships.

That’s the news and views for today, a great week as always.

Until next time, be good to each other.
