The happiest part of any Trekzone Fan Film Awards is seeing people’s reactions to events that had taken place, most people are very happy with how things had gone.
FSFilm were feeling festive, and we were feeling pretty festive too after a successful show, it is like pulling back a slingshot and letting it go after holding it for a long time and hope that the object you’ve fired goes a long way, and it certainly did this year and that is cause for being festive.
A reaction to The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards, I certainly did not expect to see this happen and I’ve seen a lot of reaction videos to things from Abbott and Costello to videos of John Farnham live in concert, so it is something unique seeing something that I worked on being watched and reacted to.

This is from Potemkin Pictures and Chelsey L. Boston who co-directed ‘Protector’s Toll’, winner of ‘Best Director’ or in their case ‘Best Directors’ as Randall Landers also directed that fan film.

Chris Kroznuski’s music in ‘Sleeping Dragon’ was our choice for Best Music and above are the thoughts he left in The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards video, it was a well-deserved win, the music accompanied the footage quite well.
“Hi Matt, I want to say thank you for the Trekzone Fan Film Award 2025, we at Starfleet Legends were thrilled to be nominated in so many categories and to win Best Film and Best Actor this year. It’s a pleasure how you and MTM have analysed all the films in detail and how much heart and soul you put into it. I think it’s so great how you support the amateur fan film scene. We look forward to continuing with Constitutuon soon. Best wishes from the whole team.”
That was from Thomas Hauber.
All the above is why we do the awards every year, there’s no clout to gain and no money to receive (fan films can’t make money so neither can we), we’re happy spending the time working on the awards, it is a yearlong effort from one award show to the next and when people are happy with the final product every July 10, we’ve done our job and we sure did this year.
Glad so many are reaffirming all of our support of the TrekZone awards!

We’ve had some great support; there were some interesting comments in the reaction video, but we won’t worry about those, eyes forward.

Absolutely. The positive vibes certainly outweighed any self indulgent snarkiness.

A huge thanks to everyone who has come with us on this journey and just enjoyed the moment, rather than nitpicking it or complaining incessantly…
