There are 349 days to go until The 2026 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, there are 44 days to go until Star Trek Day (September 8) and there are 158 days to go until we publish Trekzone and MTM’s Best of 2025 List.

Thank you to everybody who has seen The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards either by watching the entire awards show or selecting a video showcasing any of the awards individually, those videos and the nomination show have received a combined total of over 1,300 views, we are very satisfied with that total and it will no doubt move forward as we get closer to the 2026 edition.

FSFilm has released a new extra from ‘The Third Option’, there’s three versions of the video, one is spoken in English, one is spoken in Czech and the other is spoken in Polish, a nice variety of choice.

After a quiet period, The Real Truth About Axanar and AxaMonitor are back to posting a lot of stuff about each other, it appears that there’s a belief in TRTAA that some sabotage is being done but one gets the feeling that most people in the two groups are just catching z’s until either Axanar is released or it isn’t and can’t be stuffed doing anything.

Meanwhile former Axanar directors Robert Meyer Burnett and Paul Jenkins met up at Comicon, Paul recently announced that his 2006-07 comic book series SideKicks (with Chris Moreno) is going to be adapted into an adult animated series, he also got to go to the World Premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, some guys just have all the luck.
