There are 272 days to go until The 2026 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here and there are 84 days to go until we publish Trekzone and MTM’s Best of 2025 List.

For those who like their numbers, The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards has now outperformed The 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards, we are grateful that people have taken the time to watch the awards over the last three months, it is very inspiring to do it again in 2026.

A teaser trailer for Constitution has been released, and it is good to see a new video from the fine people behind Starfleet Legends Act I, Act II and Act III.

Aurora is making a comeback; it has been 9 years since ‘Mudd in your I‘ and a year since the two Aurora fan films got a 4k upgrade, it is going to be interesting to see how the comeback goes, it should do well as Aurora is fondly remembered by fan film fans.

Potemkin Pictures on October 7 gave fans an update on all the latest happenings there, there is quite a lot happening at Potemkin Pictures, there is a lot of fan film action to come over the next couple of months, and we look forward to seeing them all as they become available to watch.

‘Exiled from Eternity’ recently reached the 6,000-view mark, congratulations to all the many people who had worked on that fan film.

The Axanar and Paul Jenkins saga looks to be over, Axanar won the case in Georgia and was awarded money, they did withdraw one part of their case, and it could be brought back later on, whether it will be is depending on the hunger for more court action from the Axanar folks, an appeal on the case from Paul Jenkins is also possible though it does carry a lot of risk.
