Did you know that on the DarkwingFlash channel you can take a look at how Project Potemkin got all its nice effects done many years ago?
Take this under one-minute video, it may be short it tells you how much effort went into a fan production back when software and equipment were far more basic than they are today.
This next video is much longer, and it is super informative, you can find out how the Vendorian were created and put into a fan film, the amount of effort required to seamlessly put a character into a film when the character wasn’t there to begin with.
I admire those who work on the effects that we see on screen; I personally get close to freaking out trying to precisely do the effects like we see here, I get all frustrated, squirmy and jumpy trying to just try background elimination.
There’s a few more videos to check out and they are all just as good to look at, somebody may even find them inspiring and try out doing some of the things we’ve just seen themselves.
Until next time, be good to each other.

It is wonderful that the work was recorded so everybody could see how it was done, so much patience, skill and stamina must be required to get things right.
