Welcome to 2024 readers, if you haven’t got there yet, welcome when the time comes.

Last year was a successful year for MTM with over 2000 site visits, while that is peanuts to some places on the internet, anything above zero that is not a bot is good because somebody out there cares about what you’re doing.

Last year we had the Trekzone Fan Film Awards and the ‘Best of 2023 List’, both of them were successful and both will be done again in 2024, some people won’t be happy with our decisions but when trust and faith are broken, it is best to just walk away from each other.

MTM Wrap has been a success and will continue to be published every week no matter how much fan film news there is that week, sometimes the news is light but there’s always something going on.

Maybe we will see the end of the Axanar saga this year, it looks like all the cards are being thrown on the table and we’ll get an outcome, but it won’t be pretty for some, there will be financial pain, reputations will be altered.

Remember that there is nothing wrong with pointing out something that isn’t right, it all comes down to how you do it, don’t look like a bad person trying to point out the deeds of somebody you believe is a bad person.

There are some people out there whose ambition seems to be to be an annoyance to others, don’t give them the time of day, they want you to spend your time getting into a slanging match with them and drag you away from other issues.

Lastly, don’t give friends a blank cheque to do what they please, if they are being nasty pieces of work, tell them that they are nasty pieces of work, don’t let their actions slide because they give you a scratch behind the ears, a pat on the head and the occasional treat.
