The strangest thing about the fighting that’s going on in the fan film world is that hardly anybody talks in the one place.
One of the reasons why is that people are blocked, another reason is that entry is barred to certain people.
For example, you got so and so writing in The Real Truth About Axanar about somebody who is in the AxaMonitor group, but that person cannot answer because they are blocked or banned from the that group, so they got to answer in AxaMonitor.
So, they give an answer and then you got to wait for a response on TRTAA, screenshot it and then post it on AxaMonitor to continue the conversation.
Then you got those who have blocked each other so people only get a fraction of a conversation unless they have a ‘sock’, and they can read it and so they respond to it on another page.
So, to get a grasp on what is going on, you have to go all over the internet to find out to piece together what people are saying and then decide which location you want to give a response to.
Anyway, anybody can visit MTM on Facebook, anybody can comment here, anybody can ask questions but if anybody gets nasty then they will be turfed out of the page, and it hasn’t had to be done and with luck, it never has to be done.

it is incredibly childish by both sides. Can’t see a resolution that would appease anybody so they’ll just keep flinging mud over the fence.

It looks like people are starting to ignore who or what is coming from the other side of the fence so things may be settling down.
Things will definitely change once the temptation for comedy hour disappears.

I think spot fires will pop up as the Jenkins matter progresses, axanar is released and Peter/Paramount is concluded.
They’ve all locked themselves in their echo chambers so grab the popcorn and have a laugh

Hopefully both Alec and Paul put all their cards on the table and let a judge decide things, it is entirely possible that the judge will say both don’t have a case and both end up in a financial hole.
The business with Paramount should conclude quickly, they had a deal, Alec reneged on that deal clear as a sunny day so Paramount should be able to collect.
Axanar should get released barring some disaster, their choice of benefactors seems to be a disturbing one.
It will probably premiere in San Diego but not at the Comic Con just promoted as being as such, will it make the Top 10 most watched fan films? unknown, tastes and the world have changed since Prelude to Axanar.
Afterwards, they’ll probably go do Orville stuff and Paramount etc. will be relieved but the party could start all over again because if Disney say No because out comes the old ‘corporation being bad to the little guy’ chestnut.
