There are 116 days to go until the 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here and the enthusiasm grows by the week.
We have a fresh release for you today and that is ‘Defenders of the Federation’ by 2023 Trekzone Fan Film Awards winner Jeff Nord, this one comes in at just over five and a half minutes so can easily be watched at any time.
‘Formication’ has passed 3,000 views on YouTube which is great to see, don’t forget that if you are more a Vimeo user than a YouTube user and they are people out there as YouTube’s ads are getting more and more each day, Potemkin Pictures has your needs covered with a channel over there.
Meanwhile ‘Dream Time‘ is now Potemkin Picture’s 20th most watched fan film on YouTube, a gain of two in the last week, we focus on this fan film because it appears to be the one that has caught a wave of popularity and is moving up the order in a hurry.
One channel we’ll keep an eye on is USS Hermes, there is a bridge animation and one video of the Hermes at warp so it will be interesting to see what comes up next.
Kasey Shafsky, Executive Producer of the 2022 Trekzone Fan Film Awards winner ‘Yorktown: A Time to Heal’ is celebrating his birthday in a good way, doing a fundraiser for Rocket Dog Rescue, you can make a contribution here.
It has been a quiet week but that’s ok, things will pick up again anytime soon and all will be good.
Until next time, be good to each other.
Thanks for mentioning that other site where all our films can be found. I wish other fan film makers would use it, too, but as the wisest philosopher of the 20th century once said, “You can’t always get what you want.”
