There are 81 days until the 2024 Trekzone Fan Film Awards which should be the next fan film awards in line out of everybody who does one, we know certain people like to cover their eyes when it comes to the Trekzone Fan Film Awards, but we are here, and we are staying so they will just have to live with that fact.

Earlier this week, we gave a status report on how the awards are going, we haven’t encountered any issues, so everything is on target and the lack of stress has allowed us to consider further options to make the awards bigger, it all comes down to time and money but then again what doesn’t come down to those factors?

‘Monster’ has reached 15,000 views on YouTube, a well-deserved total and they deserve plenty more.

‘Artifacts’ is one of Potemkin Pictures two newest members of the 5,000-view club, it is a well-deserved milestone for a well thought out fan film.

‘Exiled from Eternity’ is the other fan film to reach the 5,000-view milestone and is right behind ‘Artifacts’ on Potemkin Pictures’ most watched list.

The trailer for ‘Leo’ has received almost 20,000 views since its release less than two weeks ago, these numbers prove the popularity of Chris Lea’s work.

There have been no changes to the Top 10 most watched Star Trek fan film list, First Frontier has continued to slowly chip away at Prelude to Axanar but is still some 300,000 views back, much further back than fan films separated by around 10,000 views.

That is the news for this week, thank you for your company.

Until next time, be good to each other.
