We’re two days away from The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards, well one day and a chunk of hours to go.

My job for the awards is done, I’ve made my choices, and they’ve got the seal of approval, the script for the awards is done, it reads good and so it is all in Matt’s hands to make the show happen on Thursday.

The poll is nearing its end, we’ve had almost 500 votes at this time of writing, and we’ll probably get somewhere in the 500’s at the end, close to half of the fan films presented as options have been voted for which is good to see.

The whole preparation has been a dream run for us; we haven’t encountered any problems with anybody, and our goof count is pretty low; we’re humans so there will be a goof somewhere, nothing is ever flawless.

So, after the awards, we do the post-awards wrap and then it is on to September 8 which of course is Star Trek Day, we’ll do a showpiece on some fan films that day and then comes The Best of 2025 List which is posted on December 31.
