There are 307 days to go until The 2026 Trekzone Fan Film Awards are here, there are two days to go until Star Trek Day (September 8) and there are 118 days to go until we publish Trekzone and MTM’s Best of 2025 List.

Last year we had Star Trek Day 2024 – Fan Film Style and so we will again this year, we will showcase a bunch of fan films that have been released this year.

We’ve been away for almost a month; it wasn’t planned but I was pretty much burnt out after a very hectic almost three quarters of a year so far, it sure has not been a dull 2025 that’s for sure.

‘Night of the Hawk’ is a new adventure from Potemkin Pictures, this new fan film sees Captain Grigory and Commander Kodai deal with an entity ‘whose goal of peace and love threatens both of their ships and crews‘.

Star Trek: Venture recently released ‘A Moment’s Peace’, and it is closing in on 1,000 views, this fan films sees Captain Carver who is in between missions dealing with a number of minor issues, make sure you see how Captain Carver solves the issues.

Adam Schwartz is back with ‘The Worst Starship Bridge Design’, we definitely need some more comedy especially if we’re to open a Best Comedy award in the future.

Before the break, we saw a bit of ‘A Game of Cat & Mouse’ and now here is the full fan film, six minutes and twenty-four seconds of action, will the USS Fievel survive? tune in and find out.

‘Can’t Stop’ continues to get plenty of attention, they’ve been showered with awards including collecting some from the New York International Film Awards.

The 2025 Trekzone Fan Film Awards has done almost as good as the 2024 awards, the 2024 awards now have 400 views, and the 2025 awards has 391 and when you add up all the clip totals, the 2025 awards have done really well.

That’s all the news and information for this edition of MTM Wrap, thank you for reading this edition.

Until next time, be good to each other.
