Today is May 10 and that means that we have reached the cutoff date for The 2026 Trekzone Fan Film Awards, it is going to be our fifth awards, it doesn’t feel that long but it really is.

So, we will be looking at fan films from May 10, 2025, to May 10, 2026.

What happens next is a month of going through all the available fan films and start thinking about nominations and then on June 10, those nominations will be announced and then on July 10, it is the day of The 2026 Trekzone Fan Film Awards.

There is a great range of fan films to consider from long to short fan films, animated fan films to live action fan films, it is not going to be easy to pick this year but that has always been the case for the last five years.
