Poll Results (15/7/18)

July 15 2015

We asked readers three questions in our first ever polls on events in the Axanar world.

1. Will the two parts of Axanar be completed?
2. Which group is considered the most ‘immature’?
3. Should all financial records relating to Axanar be released?

After a slow start, votes started coming in as word spread and while a rush of votes led to a charge of ‘Hater Blog’, people from any side of the Axanar debate were allowed to post about or share the polls to their hearts content as it was their right to.

129 votes were cast on the question ‘Will the two parts of Axanar be completed?’ and 103 (84.38%) of those votes said ‘No’ and 26 (15.62%) said ‘Yes’

129 votes were cast on the question ‘Which group is considered the most ‘immature’?’ and 79 (61.24%) said ‘Pro-Axanar’, 28 (21.71%) said both are immature and 22 (17.05%) said ‘Anti-Axanar’.

128 votes were cast on the question ‘ Should all financial records relating to Axanar be released?’, 108 (79.84%) said ‘Yes’ and 20 (20.16%) said ‘No’.

Conclusion

Those who support Alec Peters and Axanar may say that the results were largely because of promotion of the polls by the ‘Anti-Axanar’ (or any similar term) supporters but it was their right to do so.

It has to be remembered that if ‘Pro-Axanar’ fans were doing a promotional blitz of their own and it got them a barrage of votes, some from the other side of the debate might think that this blog is Axanar friendly.

While two questions had similar results the question of who was the most immature had a more a spread out field, this either indicates that it was a different set of voters or people were less than satisfied with one group or the other.

These results may energize the Axanar team because people are betting against them and there is no greater feeling in the world than proving somebody wrong and there’s over 100 people to prove wrong.

Thank you to all those who voted and have commented over the last couple of weeks.

Why do you keep pushing this narrative? It has no basis in reality. NO ONE from the Anti-Axanar side would think that. We judge Pro-Axanar sites by the writing and motivation of the people behind them, not because of the results from polls. We would just simply assume Alec had people barrage the vote.

    1. ‘might think’ does not equal ‘will think’ or ‘all would think’.

Not everyone thinks the exact same on every issue across the planet so the possibility always exists.

Narrative is the projection of certainty not the projection of possibility.
