The last couple of days have been interesting to say the least.
The Vic Mignogna story exploded when Axanar tried to privately sway YouTube user MachaRandom42 to believe that Vic is a bad guy and MachaRandom42 did not appreciate that and things got out of hand.
Events spread to Twitter and The Axanar YouTube channel took some abuse and they took a little bit of a beating as their subscribers total dropped by 35 before the channel has rallied to grab seven new subscribers and the loss to 28.
Ares Studios Patreon went down by $5 but they have rallied to now be at $1,800 per month.
The ACTUAL Truth about Axanar and Axamonitor is doing well, it has so far been proven to be a great place to talk about Axanar and what makes sense or doesn’t make sense, people get to learn new things all the time.
Axamonitor.com got hold of a proposed settlement between Alec Peters and Robert Meyer Burnett, this was reportedly made before the lawyers got summoned to do their expensive thing.
We asked Nerdrotics “Do you agree that the sexual harassment allegations that Vic Mignogna is currently facing is karma for Vic’s dislike of @Axanarfilm as mentioned in Reel Trek #7”
I received a response a couple of hours later as you can see above and below.
“No. Alec is entitled to have his opinion on his podcast. I was asked to be a guest to talk about Star Trek and the Orville. The Vic situation isn’t something I get into on my channel or on Twitter. There are some good YouTubers talking about it though. Cheers.”
What do people make of it? Do you think Nerdrotics should of said something if he didn’t agree no matter who was host?
If something doesn’t sit well with you in a podcast you are part of etc, question it no matter where you are.
The reason why I asked is that the whole ‘Karma is a B!tch’ thing still bothers me, how on earth is sexual misconduct allegations considered karma for being a critic Axanar?
Let’s not forget when Les Moonves was accused, those accusations were considered Karma for the Axanar lawsuit and other Star Trek related actions.
What happens if a ‘detractor’ dies? will Alec and his fans call the death karma for being an Axanar critic.
Axanar Confidential #6 aired today, the live audience peaked at around 110 viewers which was a shame as it was at times a very informative show.
Viewers got to learn about what documentaries have inspired Paul Jenkins, Alec wishes he had $150,000 so he could make Axanar, Axanar is also aiming for positivity and lots more in the two hour show.
The above is just some of the things that have gone on recently.
Until next time, be good to each other.
