It has been a pretty intense couple of days in the Axanar world and the below statement helped amp things up.
“This is just part of the reason why they (AxaMonitor’s FB group) are a hate group. While they deny it, their whole M.O is that of the KKK or Neo-Nazis. Demonize your victim, so anything you do can be justified” – Alec Peters
M.O ;pretty much means “way of operating” so he is saying that AxaMonitor is a hate group and they operate the same way as the KKK or Neo-Nazis, two groups that have brought terror to people for decades including inflicting the loss of lives.
Now some of the things that come from AxaMonitor’s FB group are disgusting especially when discussing two particular people but so is some of what comes out of The Real Truth About Axanar.
Don’t forget that Paul Jenkins has been fighting a lawsuit launched by Alec for the last nineteen months, Paul has stayed largely silent since August 2020 while Alec gets his jabs in on YouTube and Facebook on a regular basis, aren’t those jabs demonizing? isn’t that demonizing giving Alec justification to say what he says on social media?
We live in a hypocritical world, we’re all hypocrites on something in life.
The thing is that while everybody gets angry and gets eager to sling mud at each other, the hot issues regarding Axanar fade away into oblivion because people forget about them after a couple of days of excitement and time and time again the Neo-Nazi comments pop back up and it goes round and round.
Have you ever noticed that these claims don’t get put on Axanar’s Facebook or Twitter accounts just the small The Real Truth About Axanar group, if you really want people to be painted as the bad people, wouldn’t you speak out on the 60,000+ follower page and not the one that has under 200 to make people really hate them?
It is better to risk saying something on a little tiny group than risk losing a page that has over 60,000 followers, imagine if Axanar loses their FB page and YouTube channel, it will take them forever to pop back up, so it is too risky to have a swing.
At the end of the day, try and stay on course in the message you are delivering and try not to get suckered in to fighting claims you’re the same as the KKK or Neo-Nazis, the message could get lost if you’re busy fighting the little distractions.
Until next time be good to each other.
