“Duty Calls” which is the latest fan film from Sam Cockings has its premiere later on today and this fan film is highly anticipated like all the others that Sam has worked on.
Trekzone’s Matt Miller has a role in Duty Calls and so the fan film won’t be considered for the 2023 Trekzone Fan Film Awards as it is against our belief to have any fan film that involves either of us (it’s the only one) as an award nominee or winner no matter how good it is.
Potemkin Pictures will be releasing “Refugee” on October 2, this adventure has the crew of the Deimos retrieving a refugee but it isn’t as straightforward as it is seems.
The Starship Intrepid cast and crew shot seven pages of their upcoming fan film “Echoes”, they still have two shoots to go and the release is planned for late next year.
“Doomsday” has passed 100,000 views and it now has over 113,000 views.
“The Rift” is now less than 50 views away from reaching 10,000 views, hopefully it will get there shortly.
Axanar made Trek Culture’s “10 Times Star Trek Refused To Give Fans What They Wanted”, there’s a lot of passion for Axanar out there whether it is for or against it and the comments section shows that.
That’s the news for this week.
Until next time, be good to each other.
