The Gathering Storm Whack-A-Mole Game is being played in earnest across the internet though it appears that some locations are being looked at more closely than others.

Somebody out there done an edit of The Gathering Storm to cut out Tony Amendola, Faran Tahir and Patricia Tallman where it was possible, some footage from Prelude to Axanar was used to put Kate Vernon into the fan film.

It did not remain on YouTube for too long, it was taken down too though there are places outside of YouTube where you can watch The Gathering Storm for now, one example is ‘Axanar on Demand’ which is like Axanar’s version of Tubi.

Debate continues on whether the videos being published outside of YouTube is allowed or not, it is beginning to look like legal experts will have to go through everything to figure out an outcome.

If The Gathering Storm broke rules, then there is little doubt that Crucible will too and it is just not worth releasing on YouTube although it would feed certain people when it gets taken down.

Some people believe that the takedowns broke the letter and cure within 10 procedures, it remains to be seen if arbitration is asked for or whether guerilla warfare will be carried out on the internet.

Some people are still hoping that the new owners of Paramount will do Axanar a solid and let the episodes be released on YouTube no matter if rules are broken, whether or not that will happen is anybody’s guess.
